This vintage S.T. Dupont Ligne 2 lighter features an unusual abstract Chinese lacquer finish in deep green and black tones, accented by irregular gold-colored detailing throughout the lacquer. Often associated with the abstract lacquer finishes collectors refer to as “Picasso” or “Coral,” each example has a distinctive, organic pattern created by the variation within the lacquer.

Gold-plated appointments frame the lacquer panels and extend to the ignition roller, giving the lighter the classic proportions and contrasting finishes associated with earlier Ligne 2 production. The Ligne 2 uses S.T. Dupont's signature roller ignition and double soft-flame system.
