Identifying S.T. Dupont Line D Lighter

The Line D lighter is one of the most compact models in the S.T. Dupont lineup and stands out with its slim, minimalist profile and elegant proportions. While it carries the same design language as other luxury S.T. Dupont pieces, this model is notably smaller and lighter in hand.

The Line D is ideal for those who prefer a discreet and lightweight lighter without compromising on craftsmanship. Despite its smaller size, it still produces the signature Dupont "cling" when opened, though it’s slightly softer than that of the Ligne 2.

Distinguishing Features:

-Smallest soft flame model currently in production

-Flip-top cap with visible flint roller

-Often confused with vintage small lighters, but can be identified by the covered refill valve and visible adjustment screw on the underside

-Usually engraved "Made in France" with serial and hallmark near the refill valve

The Line D is a rare find and comes in a wide variety of patterns. Do you still need help identifying your lighter? Browse our S.T. Dupont lighter identification guide to learn more.
