Finished in deep black Chinese lacquer with gold-plated trim, this S.T. Dupont Classique ballpoint pen embodies the slim, elegant design that helped define the Classique collection. Originally introduced in the 1970s, the Classique became one of S.T. Dupont's most recognizable writing instruments, combining refined proportions with the craftsmanship of French luxury manufacturing.

This example includes both a ballpoint refill and the original mechanical pencil conversion mechanism, allowing it to function as either a ballpoint pen or pencil. A versatile and increasingly difficult-to-find configuration, it is an appealing addition for collectors of vintage S.T. Dupont writing instruments.
