Released in 2006, the S.T. Dupont Versailles Ligne 2 lighter is a limited edition tribute to the grandeur and artistic heritage of the Palace of Versailles. Inspired by the symbolism and decorative craftsmanship associated with Louis XIV and the Hall of Mirrors, the design incorporates royal emblems, sculpted relief work, and architectural detailing drawn from classical French ornamentation.
Finished in gold-plated brass with white lacquer panels, the lighter features layered openwork construction, a central sun motif, fleur-de-lis inspired accents, and crown detailing across the cap. Pocket lighters in the Versailles series were limited to 2,686 pieces worldwide, making this release one of the more elaborate and collectible Ligne 2 limited editions from the mid-2000s. Alongside its decorative presentation, it retains the signature Ligne 2 cling and soft double yellow flame.
