How to Identify your S.T. Dupont Lighter - Ligne 2

The S.T. Dupont Ligne 2 is the brand’s most iconic lighter — known for its balanced rectangular profile, heavy metal construction, and signature "cling" sound. Both the standard and small versions of the Ligne 2 share many traits, but they differ in overall size and weight.

Common Features:

  • Flip-open lid with cap-spring mechanism
  • Visible flame adjustment wheel and recessed gas refill port under the base
  • Traditional flint ignition
  • Some models feature a single soft flame, while newer versions include a dual soft flame
  • Some models ping ("cling") when opened; others produce a more muted click
