Alexsandr S. Pushkin was a Russian Romantic author who is considered to be the greatest Russian poet and the founder of modern Russian literature. His legacy is originating the highly nuanced level of language which characterizes Russian literature; he is credited with substantially augmenting the Russian lexicon. Omas's tribute is a parchment-coloured enamel barrel with a diamond-engraved portrait based on a self-portrait. His likeness is also featured on the cap top. As his face, his signature is also featured twice: in Cyrillic on the endpart, and in signature form on the body. Accents are pure sterling, and the clip is decorated with the tool of his trade, a goose feather. The piston-filler fountain pen poses an 18k gold nib engraved with the number 1799, the year of Pushkin's birth. Each numbered edition of 26 fountain pens and 26 rollerballs is enclosed in a special collector's case.
